Here is the pattern for Ribbed Far-Away Baby Socks as it made its public debut on Thursday, January 17, 2008 on the afghans for Afghans Knit- and Crochet-Along blog at http://afghansforafghanskal.blogspot.com/2008/01/ribbed-far-away-baby-socks.html
The instep stitches continue the ribbing from the leg for an extra bit of stretch. The short-row heel eliminates picking up stitches, though I found it the hardest part of the pattern to write up!
Feel free to use this pattern for personal use or for charity. I reserve all rights, etc., etc.
